The department focuses on interdisciplinary, symbiotic, and cutting edge research projects in combination of mathematics, information science, and management science, by using mathematical thinking, methods, and theories, in order to explore and proliferate novel methods, theories, and subjects. Researchers are encouraged to study on qualitative analysis techniques and develop modern decision theories and methodologies in important decision problems and significant social-economic issues.
